Our Marae Trip
I saw the inside of the house where they eat. – by Dyarviarhnne
At the marae I saw some carvings and I saw people singing in the marae. We listened to the teachers. – by Lima

Yesterday we went to the marae in the bus. Inside the marae I saw a greenstone and carvings on the side. We can’t have our shoes inside the marae. We put our shoes outside the marae. We got in buses to fit everyone. I saw three whares. – by Angela

Room 4's assembly - 9 March 2012
At our assembly we shared our mihi's and our silhouette art. We sung the Library Song and If you're happy and you know it. We also showed the school the performance we did at the hui - Savalivali, read out our shared story (Meanies) and our poem of the week (Ten Little Monkey's). We were feeling a bit nervous and scared after the assembly. We tried to be brave. Afterwards we felt happy and proud.
